it encourages me to read what you said about your experience in attending Beyond Borders' annual meeting last year.

still several weeks until the deadline. we'll try to have final count about three days before event. hope you can make it! it will be an opportunity to promote and sell coffee and to promote fair trade.

Profile Information

Haiti Involvement:
A trip to Haiti (with Beyond Borders in January '07) has inspired a gallery & book store offering fair trade art & coffee, live music on occasion & the opportunity to simply enjoy life with others in an interesting neighborhood in Historic Northeast Kansas City. Artwork, jewelry & other items are available from Brasil, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti & North America, including Mexico! (I've traveled to Haiti twice more this year, once in March and again in July/Aug, taking my two daughers, ages 5 and 17, with me on the third trip. I'm hooked!)
